Anthropologie: Digital Spaces
This project involved incorporating an element of technology into a store space as a way of engaging customers. I based this Level 5 Digital Spaces on the creation of a pop up for Anthropologie within the grounds of the Saatchi Gallery, in collaboration with a small brands Klaylife. Klaylife is a brand creating intricate chandeliers and jewellery from clay beads, supporting a group of women within Kwazulu-Natal. The aim of the pop up was for customers to discover the stories behind who made their products, creating an emotional attachment. A new collection would be created specifically for Anthropologie, using the clay beads to embellish garments and accessories, with the collection and pop up being titled 'Meet the Makers'.
